Clockwork Watch

Clockwork Watch 390

The Clockwork Servant, if used correctly, could provide our nation with an enormous amount of power. Like any kind of power, however, it must be dealt with wisely, and it must not fall into the wrong hands. I have every trust that Her Majesty will choose the wisest course of action, and act in the best interests of her people. – Lady Frobisher Pilbeam

From the Clockwork Watch website: “Clockwork Watch is an immersive participatory story set in a retro-futurist vision of Victorian England. The narrative is played out across graphic novels, interactive promenade theatre, freeform role-play, online adventures, an interactive book, and a feature film.

Tomorrow’s World…Today!

This project introduces a non-colonial style of Victoriana, set at a time when mechanics and science are the two most important developments in the world. The aim is to chart the development of such technologies as the story progresses.

LiveEvent

The transmedia framework is a sandpit where participants can experience a make believe universe, interact with a story narrative, contribute to an alternate history of the steampunk genre, and propose creative adjustments to the Clockwork Watch story universe.

The best submissions following the story arc will be given canon status, incorporated into the narrative, and the authors will be awarded a contributors credit on the website.”
